Seems I'm having a mild 'tic (diverticulitis) attack ~ as in no Samurai trying to disembowel me!
Saw the doc yesterday ~ back on the ABX and Evil Flagyl regime. I also have a surgical consult on 8/11, since this is my second 'tic attack in 2 months. Not good.
Part of me wants to just get it over with a resection; the nurse part of me DREADS & HATES the thought of being on the other side of the bed rails!!!
Bleah.

FYI ~ the History channel will be airing his original broadcast of the landing on the 20th at a couple of different times.
Ever since I was a little girl (yes, we DID have TV's back then, thank you very much!), I have wanted to be a "Nielson family" ~ one of those exalted elite whose tastes would determine the future of TV!! (or so it seemed to me at around age 10)
Well, guess what? My dreams have finally come true, and as of 0500 this morning, we officially began our reign as a "Nielson family"!!
It all started over a month ago, when we got a little postcard in the mail, asking if we would like to participate. Jim was all ready to tear it up & trash it when I practically tore it out of his hands and said, in no uncertain terms, that hell YES, we would be participating!
My long-suffering hubby just rolled his eyes, and acquiesed to my demented desire...
We have a lovely little diary we have to religiously make Xes in whenever we watch something (so far, my side is blank), and there is space to add additional comments.
For this monumental task, we received the munificent sum of ONE crisply pressed dollar...
but dammit it ~ it's not the money that matters! It's all about the power and the glory! Or, as my DD would say, it's all about ME!!!

Re: michael jackson ~ I am SO sick of all the headlines! Yes, he was a musical genius who forever changed pop rock. As far as the chart topping weirdness, who the heck really knows?? And furthermore, who really cares?? I must say I can't blame Miz Rowe for blasting that reporter ~ I doubt I would have warned first! For me, a straight shot to the groin would have sufficed.
Re: North Korea ~ Hit them with our back-pack nukes, at strategic sites. Then very gently help them see we are not the evil empire they think we are. This will take at least a generation or three.

I've been playing more with this ~ it is VERY addictive!!! And I can take a screen shot of the grid to print out later so I can keep tunes I like... now to find a way to create ringtones from them!!

My genius hubs has figured out a way to capture the tunes using audio hijack for MAC ~ don't know if it would work on PCs... this means we can keep tones we like on iTunes!
Also, experiment with circles and squares and rectangles ~ neat affects!
Another thing to try is to hold the left mouse key down, then move the mouse around...
