I really tried to like Amor Towles' new book "The Lincoln Highway"...
But after 147 pages, I had to give it up. I was bored to tears. It was no where NEAR as engaging as his "A Gentleman in Moscow", and I just couldn't finish it.
Poop. Such a disappointment ~
...but I'm a believer! I've just read Amor Towles' "A Gentleman in Moscow", and I loved it! Well written, enchanting and intriguing ~ I will be getting it for my permanent collection.
I tried to read his first novel too ~ but I had to put it away. Not NEARLY as good; very much a disappointment.
My creative mojo, which has been so dreadfully absent since the fall of '19 seems to be returning, slowly but surely. I've done one project from long ago; have some new G45 projects ready to go. YAY!!!
This afternoon, I watched the movie "The Father". No wonder Anthony Hopkins won the Best Actor Oscar for it.
Keep Kleenex handy ~ especially at the end.
5 stars ~
Got my first COVID-19 shot today at 1 PM ~ so far, at 6:30 PM, my arm isn't even sore. We'll see what tomorrow brings ~
Second shot will be Apr. 16th ~

I'm not trying to ignite a flaming war here ~ just to get honest opinions...

Wonder what the a$$hole limp dick/lame duck will try next in his desperate wild madness??? Declaring martial law??
How I hate the slime ball!
