At the dog show...

We're in Kennewick (about 2 hours from Yuck-berg) ~ met up this evening with Seamus' wonderful breeder (Kathy) and his 2 siblings. It was so weird to see him next to them ~ he IS a moose dog!! His brother Brogan is 22lbs; sister Hannah is even less! I'm so glad Kathy is getting the chance to see him; she's actually thinking he might have grown out of whatever it was that made Nancy (her mentor) think he wouldn't be as good in the ring!! Nancy will get a chance to see him tomorrow; we'll see what she says! Kathy asked if I'd be willing to let her show him ~ I said Hell yes!!
It was too dark tonight at their campsite to get any good pictures, so we'll get lots tomorrow. The sibs are showing at 1100, so there will be plenty of time afterwards for pix.
Also, I can't wait to stroll around and see what all the vendors have...

It was funny ~ we re-introduced Seamus to his sibs, one at a time. He was SHY at first ~ probably as a result of his Mom being so paranoid about germs before he had all his shots! But then he really started playing with Brogan ~ and that is the first time we've EVER seen him try to hump anyone!! It was hysterical ~ they both seemed to be fond of 69!!! I told Kathy "Sheesh, I bring him to reunite with the sibs, and the first thing he learns is how to hump!"
Tomorrow evening Nancy is having us all to her place for dinner ~ 16 daschie lovers all in one place!!!

What, no pictures? You promised pictures!! Have a great time on Saturday and give little Seamus a hug from me.
Oh, and I hope he doesn't think he's taking any of that humping behaviour home!!!

Sam didn't learn to hump until we brought a second dog into the house. Now, he humps and hikes his leg. Bastard.
