So we got our ballots in the mail today... and I've marked my choices...

But there is something about this ballot that just REALLY pisses me off!

Working Mother magazine!!!

WTF??? Where the hell did this come from?? How was I chosen to be the recipient of this little gift subscription that apparently runs thru June/July '09???

Now ~ for those of you who don't know me as well as my SG friends, I am NOT a mother; I am barely working, and I hate children!!!

However, once I recovered from my open-mouthed astonishment, I began to see the possibilities for some good giggles. And then I was laughing uproariously, because as I thumbed thru the magazine, this was the very first ad my eye landed on.

I just can NOT explore the issue more deeply this evening, because my ribs are still too sore from my earlier laughing fit, and I'm afraid I would do myself permanent harm if it happened again so soon!

Over the next days & weeks, I will delve further into such earth-shattering stories as "Is your teenager ready to drive?", "Easing first day jitters", "Clothes that make the grade" and the enthralling-sounding "Super Lunchbox Specials"!!!

A mini-album and...

I saw this today, and decided to play... And since I had to go to my LSS anyway today, I picked up a 4x4 acrylic mini book to use for it ~ I plan to do all kinds of experimenting!! Alcohol inks, rub-ons, souffle pens ~ should be fun!!! This will be my first foray into 'clear' scrapping...

And speaking of fun stuff... @ SG, the 7th Secret Sister swap is underway!!! Within 5 minutes of Marinka send out the SS notifications, I got a message from someone asking me to be their teaser/taunter! Plus I have also agreed to doing some part time teasing for 4 or 5 others ~ it's so nice to be wanted and appreciated! :-)))))

More fun stuff... ~ I'm getting excited about tomorrow night's VP debate! It will be the first debate I've EVER watched... I just want to see what these 2 interesting specimens have to say!!! I know my friends E and B will be watching along with me; I just wish we could all be together!
