Hi, Merced!

So my old home town of Merced gets to shine tomorrow, as the starting place for the 4th leg of the Tour of California... whooooda thunk it! See here for map...
Boy, does that bring back a lot of memories, both good and bad. The circle around downtown, the charge up M St., right next to Applegate and Mercy Hosp., then all along Bear Creek... If I still lived in our last house there, I could easily walk to the race course!
Then up to Mariposa ~ too bad the Merced River won't be in full flood ~ and back down to the valley... I wonder if Fres-burg was pissed that Clovis was picked, rather than them!
You can bet I'll be watching the coverage tomorrow...

Hi to Heidi, Mareeeeeeee, Jerry and all the old farts from Muck-Muck! ~

Ah, it is usually with mixed feelings that we remember where we grew up. I feel that way. Mostly bad memories, but some good. I have been thinking of how to scrap those good memories without any photos.

That sounds great!

Hey, is your email working? Sent you two things that got kicked back.

Cottleston Pie is the Taoist philosophy dealing with our Inner Nature (as explained by Winnie-the-Pooh)
To get the full scoop, read "The Tao of Pooh" by Benjamin Hoff.
The full poem is at the very bottom here...
