Traveling...

I found this today... and besides LMBO, I was also blushing, because one of my secret nicknames is "The REALLY, REALLY Impatient Traveler".

Seriously. Here is a typical traveling dialogue I have with myself...

"OK ~ I'm at the airport, let's board the plane. Aww, man! The security gate isn't even open yet?!?!" Grumble, grumble, grumble... (this is a direct result of my absolute horror of being late for anything)

"OK, we're through security, let's board the plane. What do you mean it's not even here yet?!?!" Grumble, grumble, grumble...

"OK, we're boarding, let's get our stuff stashed and take off. C'mon, you slowpokes! Move your damn butts! " This is invariably followed by wondering why they don't board the plane by rows from back to front, or if the plane is big enough, by letting people board from the front AND the back. "Idiots".

"OK, we're FINALLY taxiing; can't this thing move any faster??? I mean it can fly at 500 mph, fer gawd's sake ~ let's GO, already!"

And so on & so forth... no wonder I'm always exhausted when I fly!! Won't EVEN go into my whole routine when landing... :-O

In other news... how 'bout some creativity...

Kathy had this picture of the pups taken 4 days before Seamus came to live with us ~ think it needs anything else? I will be putting some copper highlights on the bookplate.

These are some of the pix Kathy sent of Seamus' first day or so...

Cottleston Pie is the Taoist philosophy dealing with our Inner Nature (as explained by Winnie-the-Pooh)
To get the full scoop, read "The Tao of Pooh" by Benjamin Hoff.
The full poem is at the very bottom here...
