a wonderful day...

...was today!
We bought all the new chairs for the LR today ~ now we just have to wait for delivery! (Aaaaargh, sez she who doesn't do well with delayed gratification!)) It will be 6-8 weeks for the recliners, and 4-6 weeks for the small chairs.
We spent most of the afternoon playing in the garden ~ trimming up some roses and ground covers, pushing back the new bark Ciro's guys dumped on all the new growth, etc. It is always such a thrill to see those tender new shoots!! My back is sore, but it was well worth it ~
Then Jim fixed his signature fondues for dinner ~ YUM!!! Fried beef, sourdough & melted cheese, and a glass of wine ~ one of the universe's best meals!

We also found a little tiny frog in the backyard ~ cute as could be. (Pix later) ~ it was not much bigger than a quarter, and had a bandit mask stripe of black around his eyes. I scooped him up and put him out front near the fountain since we didn't want Seamus to find him (he's had enough strange stuff in his tummy lately!!) ~ hope the froglet likes it out there!

Cottleston Pie is the Taoist philosophy dealing with our Inner Nature (as explained by Winnie-the-Pooh)
