Altered license plate...

I had found this license plate at a yard sale $1 about 2 months ago... Finally, it let me know it wanted to be altered... and to be reminded of it's home. (click to enlarge)

So, it got shells and a sand dollar, lots of sea blue/green ribbons, a bit of sea glass, and an old, mysterious coin...

(which is actually an old ChuckyCheese token we found buried in the sand in Santa Barbara years ago!!!)

And it also really liked an old mermaid cocktail fruit holder I got long ago.

Before I hang it in ScrapCentral, I'm going to add some sea-weedy looking stuff I got on sale Sunday at my LSS; this I'll glue to the back, so it sticks up from the top (behind the hanging ribbon)

I had a lot of fun with this ~ and it gave me ALL kinds of ideas... a plate from every state I've ever lived in, and from every country I've lived in... and one from all the different countries my cyber friends live in...

Uh-oh ~ what have I gotten myself into?!?!?! :-)))

Whwni read about the "old mysterious coin" I enlarged my screen to see if I could figure it out. Nope. Keep reading. I nearly choked on my Graham cracker when I read it was Chucky Cheeze token. LMAO!!!!

This is awesome. I like your ideas to make more.

You're getting just downright chabby chic-y!
