WHAT I'VE BEEN WORKING ON...

A Tim Holtz shadow box... This is the project I started on at the McCall retreat...

Click for a close up ~

I used TH tissue tape around the edges, colored with his Distress Stains. Most of the shells, rocks, driftwood and corals are bits I've collected over the years. The "seaweed" under the whale's tail is florist's moss; the bottled sands are from Morro Bay State Beach and my beloved Montana de Oro State Park. The shaker box (the shiny box lowerish left) also contains sand from those beaches... And yes, Kylie ~ that's another one of THOSE coins in there with Captain Jack! ;-)

Enjoy, and TFL!

That's absolutely gorgeous, my Artist-bobbie-friend. I love ALL of it, but especially the seahorse <3 and the shells <3

I agree, absolutely gorgeous! Now I wish I bought the box when I saw it in the shop the other day but I couldn't even imagen how beautiful you can make it. Kram
