HAPPY 70TH, SISTER!!!

On around the 20th of March, I up and decided I should go over to Portland, OR  {8 hours away} to be there for my sister's 70th birthday! So, unbeknownst to her, plans were made, and I was on my way...

Surprise!!!

CL is in FANTASTIC shape ~ she has been going to Jazzercise nearly every day of her life since the early '90's ~ here she is up on the stage with the instructor...
Can you tell she has a dancer's heart??
{She has danced from a very early age}

I had SO much fun watching her ~ the joy in her face could have lit up a city block! If you didn't know her age, you could never guess it from the way she moves.

The girls ~ me, CL, my niece, and my niece's daughter

We had a fantastic time ~ sharing old times & stories
(especially about our Mom),  sharing our love of books (inherited from Mom),
loving on their doggies ~

I'm so glad I went ~
and I love you, Big Sis!!

XOXOX

It shows in your faces just how happy you were to be there for sis's #70. You both have those cheery round cheeks and so do your niece and her daughter. Fantastic photos which will be fun to add to your scrapbook too. Thanks for sharing them with all of us.

Hugs,
C

Hi Bobbie:

Glad you stopped by! I grew up with Herb Caen too, grew up in Pasadena, met my hubby in San Francisco. LOVE the bay area, and he was a household word.

Your pics are lovely, what a good time you had!

Come again! Dots it is...
