GETTING READY FOR FALL & LEAH!!

My Sis gets here next Tuesday afternoon ~ needless to say, I'm a wee bit frazzled! But besides all the cleaning, I wanted to get a bit of seasonal decorating done, too.

As with all pix, click to enlarge...  Thanks for looking ~ leave me some love!!

Seamus & Peanut (on floor) getting ready to 'help' me with my autumn decorations...

The top part of the mantel ~ I made the banner myself with burlap and plain paints on stamp letters...
I don't know why I've been so drawn to beige and blue for this season; probably my true hatred of orange finally busting through the seasons' trad. colors!!
Anyway, I'm VERY happy with it...   The husband isn't too sure about it, but as long as he knows I'm good with it, he's happy. (bless his little heart!)

One of the extra banners for pretties ~ the stamped/embossed leaves were a gift from my G.B. bird-lovin' friend...

The whole deal... I'll try to remember later to get a shot of it at night, with all the candle's & lights going...
The fake beige pumpkin will end up being covered with a sweater (probably after my sister leaves!)

In front of the TV, in an antique bread mold I've had for years...

Happy Fall, Bobbie! I love your seasonal decor, especially your beautiful bunting. (I have a thing for bunting.) Your puppies are so darn cute and are a pretty autumn color, too! :)

The mantel looks great. The banner is cute - I never thought about paint and stamps to get the letters.

Last year I had a banner, but I have one on the porch, one on a wreath, one in the garden and another to go on my old ladder. I thought the mantel would be overkills.

It all looks so pretty Bobbie, I was hoping to see those pumpkins with the sweaters though.
Have a Great time with your sis!
What am I saying of course you will.
Hugs Lynn

P.s. my little Tiffany is not doing very well. :0(

Just beautiful, bobbie. I especially love the owls and the cricket. And, of course, Seamus and Peanut <3 I hope you can relax now and just enjoy the fruits of your labor and the company of your sister xxoxx
