ALTERED MOUSE TRAPS!

For our May Designing Divas project, ToothGal introduced us to altered mouse traps! They seem to be all the rage on Pinterest right now, and I can see why ~ they are very fun & quick to make, and the only limit to their style is your imagination! They are also a great way to use up smallish scraps of paper ~
I've put small magnets on the backs of mine, or you can make hangers for them from soda pop cans.
The 'lethal' spring parts are removed, but you can still use the lower U-shaped piece of metal to hold grocery lists, pictures, etc. in place.
As always, click pix to enlarge...

This one below was designed with a friend's color scheme in mind...

Using G45's "Olde Curiosity Shoppe" papers...

The hubsand says this one reminds him of the old "Clara the Clown" character,
with her mop of red hair!

LOVE . . . LOVE . . . LOVE . . . this idea. Now I have to stop at the hardware store for some mousetraps.

They ALL turned out so well and the G45 paper one is my favorite. Wonder why? They are definitely fun to make and I'm saving mine for holiday tree gag ornaments for family members.

Bobbie,

Oh my goodness where have I been! These are the cutest things I have seen in quite a while. I am going to have to go out and get some mouse traps, these will make a great project do with my grands so they can make their own art hanger for my refrigerator, so much cuter than a standard magnet. Thanks for sharing!
