ROSES & RUST Flea Market Goodies

Some of these are the goodies I got at the flea market I went to a while back; others are from my junkin' friend L ~ as always, click pix to enlarge.

First up, from the market, is this adorable little little serving cart on wheels. I just couldn't say "no" to the aqua blue!  I can move the 3 shelves around from top to bottom; I was thinking of putting the rustiest one in the middle ~ what do you think?  Or should I clean it up and repaint it using a similar color?  Your ideas gratefully listened to!

These next 2 items are from my Gilded friend L ~ these kinds of hairnets were given out free to, among others, nurses, to keep their hair jailed out of the way.
Pretty sexy, eh???

This is a large steel syringe L found for me ~ Yikes! It holds about 20cc (2/3rds of an ounce).

Showing the plunger.  I'm thinking this may have been a veterinarian's, rather than for humans.  Either way, I love it!

I have been wanting one of these old rulers for ages ~ I'm going to ModPodge it to help protect it.

I can't wait to see what I can find at the fall Rust & Roses show!

Thanks for looking ~

Gorgeous serving cart – I’d suggest re-painting it.
I used to wear a hair net to bed, usually covering hair rollers !!
Love the syringe, and that ruler is fantastic :)
Love to you.
Enjoy your visitor xox

Love the teal cart and the old ruler (I collect those kids of rulers, and my favourite is not the antique one but the very one my dad used when he did wood work, same kind of ruler that you have there and I just learned that the design is Swedish made, who knew : ) I hope your biopsy went well and you're healing without any discomfort.

Thank you for stopping by my studio and for the comment you left.

Cheers from Ontario!!
