DIRECT FROM SINGAPORE!

My sweet friend Cathy from Ma Vie Trouvee sent me a lovely package of goodies a bit back. I'm sorry it has taken me so long to post this, Cathy!
As always, click to biggify pix.

To begin with, below is just the envelope she decorated to send my treasures in... the red floral design continues on the front...

Below is some Singaporean money. Aren't the colors brilliant?!

She sent me several joss papers...

In these the areas that look dark are actually shiny gold...

The next two are much larger pieces; about 14-16 in. wide...

A 5 x 6 little good luck charm; 2014 is the year of the horse.

And this is the pies de resistance ~ Cathy used Gelli printing and antique stamps to create this 8.5 by 11 stunning piece ~ I can't wait to get it framed! There is no way any computer copy of it can do it justice ~ the colors are so deep & rich!

Thank you again, Cathy, for all the wonderful gifts ~

If you haven't checked out Cathy's art blog, please do so soon ~ and from there, check out more of her fantastic photography on she & her hubby's travel blog, The Xtra Suitcase!

How wonderful to receive a package from abroad. Naturally, this one caught my eye. The art Cathy created is gorgeous and I can't wait to see it in person. Have a great day, Bobbie.

Oh, what fun, and colorful, treats.

I still have to write my feature on the goodies you sent me, but I have yet to do what I want with the cloth. My issue is that I lost my creative space once again - long story. I am almost set up once again and can make my items for the swap and make the little runner I want to make from the cloth.
