How many of you caught even a part of the eclipse? Pretty cool, eh?
We could have driven about an hour north to be in the 100% path, but the roads were supposed to be a madhouse, especially on the way home, so we didn't bother.
We just set out our rockers in the backyard, and enjoyed the moments. We had the beasties outside with us, and they didn't display anything unusual, even when it got very dark.
We didn't try to take pix of the main event, but DH did get some pix of the sun coming through the leaves of our river birch tree; very cool ~ see below. Click to enlarge.
I'd love to hear about your experience!

Amazing! Thought of you when I saw this on the news!
Sending you lots of love.
And hugs.

I watched the eclipse from a parking lot in front of LA Fitness. Folks took a break from their workouts to stare at it with bare eyes. I suspect the ophthalmolgists had a full dance card on Wednesday.
