PRETTY SPOOLIES!

These little spoolies were my project for the DIVAs in September... old wooden spools decorated with lace, ribbon, faux moss & flowers, and birdies Click to biggify.

The copper wires were easy to bend, but not too flexible. They can hold pictures, or little love notes, or place cards.

You could also take all the old thread off, and paint/paper them.

Thanks for looking!

Great craft! I remember when spools were wooden, not plastic like today. Thanks for popping by my blog too!

bobbie- I just realized you were not on my sidebar and I read from there. I just fixed it so now when you post it should pop up for me. I am so sorry- I wasn't ignoring you---I was just ignorant of the fact you weren't there! xo Diana

Cottleston Pie is the Taoist philosophy dealing with our Inner Nature (as explained by Winnie-the-Pooh)
To get the full scoop, read "The Tao of Pooh" by Benjamin Hoff.
