RAY CHAVEZ

A tip of the hat, and a salute to Ray Chavez ~ the oldest known survivor of Pearl Harbor. He left us today at age 106. I am thankful for him, and for ALL Veterans for their service.
May flights of angels sing thee to thy rest ~

Oh my can you imagine being 106. God Bless him and all the others that gave so much for our freedom. Hope your Thanksgiving was fabulous.
Hugs,

I heard about that. Won't be too long until all WWII veterans are gone.

Oh yes, as I read that I thought of my childhood. My mother would tell me of Pearl Harbor just after her prayers for my brothers who were in the Pacific. Thanks for mentioning a hero.

Thanks for stopping by the Shipslog. And I would enjoy some guidance out that way, if we are ever blessed to be back.
