DIVAs WRAP BOOK 1/19

For our January DIVAs project, DE presented us with these fun Wrap Books ~ they came completely plain. We added Texture paste through a stencil on the covers, and then I painted mine with the daubings of a sea sponge. The seahorse came plain; I hand painted it. There is a bit of tinted cheesecloth, a button coloured with TH's Mushroom Alcohol Ink, and a tag from Graphic 45's "Sun Kissed" line.
As always, click to biggify!

The mini composition books are held in place by simple hair bands. The books are 3.5W by 4.5H.

The composition books,; inside front & back covers.

The pocket on the inside back page holds a message for my sweet hubby

The first of the composition books... All the covers and backs are decorated.

This was rather difficult to photograph, because it wanted to keep closing! But thanks for looking ~ I will be using this as a gratitude journal as soon as I fill up the one I'm using now.

What a charming book! I love the color palette and the seahorse theme.

Cottleston Pie is the Taoist philosophy dealing with our Inner Nature (as explained by Winnie-the-Pooh)
To get the full scoop, read "The Tao of Pooh" by Benjamin Hoff.
