A PRETTY FOR A FRIEND

This is from a project one of the ASE gals presented us with. The spoons were her grandmother's; she and her siblings use to use them to play in the dirt! Despite their traumas, they are still beautiful! After doing just a wee bit of polishing, I bent the cup of the spoon up to hold the egg and mossy nest.

I knew right away how I wanted to make the canvas for my friend who loves the color lavender, and birds & bees. It came together very quickly (unusually for me!) And, thank the universe, my friend really likes it!

Thanks for looking ~

I knew she would like it as it is a gorgeous piece of art and you did well with the spoon on the canvas. Just lovely! Thanks for sharing a photo of the finished piece.

Beautiful!

I need to try to bend some of my old spoons. Of course, I don't know what I would do with them then, but I would think of something.

Such beautiful colors Bobbie. I would have thought you'd create something with your ocean theme.

Hi Bobbie!
Love this idea for a vintage spoon! Such a pretty, inspiring piece! I love old silver of any kind and use it all the time!

Hope you have a lovely week!
