PROTEST SONGS PART 3

A day late; a dollar short...

I've just finished reading "Songs of America" by Jon Meacham (a Pulitzer Prize winning author) and Tim McGraw (yes, THAT Tim McG!) ~
a fascinating look at the songs that have fueled America since the Revolutionary War through 2008.
I especially love the tunes we Americans "stole" from the British, and added our own words to { My Country Tis of Thee" being the major one!}
