A while back, I hostessed (if that wasn't a word, it is now!) a mini-swap for a couple of blogland buddies.  No theme; just any little bit of art that you thought might make someone smile.

First up is this mixed media artwork from the always colorful and talented Erin of Altered by the Sea. The picture doesn't show all the wonderful texture & life of the piece (click to biggify), and the bright cheerful colors brighten wherever it is!

Next is this woven wire heart assemblage from the lovely Carol of Art and Sand.
Her art work is as much fun as her blog and colorful house are! The word tag at the bottom reads "Dream as if you will live forever" ~ a sentiment I love.

Erin & Carol ~ thank you so much for joining me.

What lovely pieces of art Bobbie! Erin and Carol are both so talented, aren't they?
I'm thinking spring, but know we are bound to get a little more winter, at least here. I bet Boise is beautiful right now! I need to go see my mom and see for myself, I think :)
hugs from here...

I was obviously too quick off the mark and did those kisses before the pictures appeared, LOL. Those two pieces are just so gorgeous! I love your talented and creative friends, bobbie :)

Dead laptop is forcing me to stay off the computer and not use my hand.

I am trying to use my iPad, but it doesn't always let me comment.

Thanks for the shout out!

I knew you would have a tribute to Mr. Spock. Steve put his Vulcan salute on Instagram. I hate to admit it, but I have never seen an episode of Star Trek. I was in college and without a TV when everyone was into the show.

Cottleston Pie is the Taoist philosophy dealing with our Inner Nature (as explained by Winnie-the-Pooh)
To get the full scoop, read "The Tao of Pooh" by Benjamin Hoff.
The full poem is at the very bottom here...
