ORGAN DONATION

This is something I am VERY passionate about... watch the video; sound on. Have tissues nearby.

How many times as an ICU nurse did I see families torn by the decision of whether or not to let a loved one who was at their life's end become an organ donor. Heartbreak all around. All because the person left no instructions. Or never bothered to check the appropriate box on their Driver's License.

I won't bore you with the statistics of how many people are on organ waiting lists vs. how few people are signed up to give the gift of life.

As far as I'm concerned, EVERYONE should be considered an organ donor unless their religion expressly forbids it. A radical view? Perhaps. One that could save MANY lives... Hell Yes!!

Please, please, please ~ if you haven't already become an organ donor, do so ASAP. Talk with your family; tell them your wishes.

Stepping off my soapbox now...

Couldn't agree more!
I've been an organ donor all my adult life.

Cottleston Pie is the Taoist philosophy dealing with our Inner Nature (as explained by Winnie-the-Pooh)
To get the full scoop, read "The Tao of Pooh" by Benjamin Hoff.
