A SAD GOODBYE ~

Friends ~

It is with a very heavy heart I must tell of the passing of my dear friend C. She lost her valiant fight with cancer early this AM. She is no longer in pain ~ thank the universe.

She was not only a friend to me, but also a supreme artistic mentor. Some of my favorite memories of her are the times we met to play/experiment with some new technique. She gently helped wiggle me away from my desire for 'perfection' ~ I will always be thankful to her for that.

She will be missed by so many ~ her "arty" friends, the DIVAs & the ASE ladies; the members of her beloved book club; and, of course, her family.

Dear C ~ this afternoon, I will have a Margarita in your honor; it is the least I can do!

Carolyn was such a dear, beautiful, caring, loving and talented friend with so much grace and poise. She had such a great outlook on life, always listening and giving encouragement to others. I am one of the lucky people who had the honor and privilege to have had Carolyn in my life. She will always hold a "special" place in my heart. Carolyn, I know you are soaring with the angels!!!!!!

You were both blessed to have each other.
